On Wednesday July 7 2010, Past and present members of Engine 11, Truck 6 and the 4th BFC gathered to celebrate the career of Deputy Fire Chief Paul Jones. DFC Jones spent over 20 years at the House of Flame.

He was appointed to Truck 6 on October 21, 1979, promoted to Vice Technician in 1986, promoted to Technician in 1988, became the 4th BFC Sergeant in 1996, and promoted to Lieutenant of Truck 6 in 1999. A plaque was presented to DFC Jones and an excellent dinner was prepared to honor his legacy at the House of Flame.
